Our discussion towards the topic this week was about the introduction, motivation and the news which relates to our subject. We think that nowadays educational and economical situations in Taiwan lead the social morals form a strange phenomenon which directs what students learn is not straightly to their “exact interests”. The social morals somehow encourage students to keep on entering the next grade school. Nevertheless, recently, more and more students would rather avoiding the real world than facing the true society. So they keep on studying , studying and studying, causing the diplomas somehow become worthless.
The exercise we had in this week was profoundly impressive. Before the “ merry - go - round ” activity, I could not find what was the point at this game. However, after this game, I consider it is really significant to use this skill to show each group’ aspects for their theme. And in the meanwhile we all can learn how to express our stuffs in English fluently. Through this special “merry - go - round ”and the interaction between groups and groups, it seems that it is more efficient to find out the key points and inspect ourselves as well.
Many questions were shown up in the duration of intercommunication. We reflected ourselves in the instant time and tried our best to be more specific to the theme. Therefore, our English was improved and the subject developed into “a form of maturity”. In the end of the class, we reached a discussion to make the video in our report by presenting our process and perspective.
